Wheeeee, today is May 5! And this is a present for birthday boy, Hibari Kyouya ;D





Notes: Basically, this is an FST about Hibari and how various people feel about/around him. All instrumental or semi-instrumental pieces, and I'm so abusing Final Fantasy songs here hey, at least I'm not using One Winged Angel.
I tried very hard not to be biased, so please ignore the title for Dino's song and any correlation it may or may not have with... some other things /cough

Haven't downloaded them all since my ISP being idiotic again. Sometimes I wonder what it took to have a ISP with a stable connection and reasonable price in Indonesia *groan*

Anyway, I did have heard some of those; "Maybe I'm a Lion" and "J-E-N-O-V-A (piano ver.)" were two of my favorites in FF, and I agree with you on making that Hibari's theme. It had that edgy and dangerous tone to it. And hahahaha, "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" for Tsuna cracked me up. I'm imagining Tsuna with a tutu, a wand, and some sparkling stars right now XDDDDD

"Gothic Neclord" was also a classic favorite from Suikoden, but now that you chose it, I'm starting to miss my Suikoden songs. I have to listen to it right now. In fact, I'm hearing one of the track of 'Orrizonte' album. Nice album, that one.

And "Starting of the World" definitely fit on Hibird. It had the airy and er, calm feeling into it. Hibari seemed to be calm around Hibird, I wonder if the feeling I got from hearing the song was the same as when Hibari saw Hibird flew XD

I'm totally downloading the rest--after my ISP decided to play nice with me again >)

OMG THAT IMAGE. LOL TSUNA. I feel like I'm destroying his image by choosing that particular piece. And yes, ever since I read Reborn, I haven't been able to identify "Maybe I'm A Lion" with anyone else but Hibari. Not even Squall XD

I have three versions of "Gothic Neclord" 8D I chose this one because it has strings and overall sounds more elegant compared to the original game version and we're talking about Mukuro here Ooh yes! I love "Orrizonte". In fact, I'm making a sort of Fairytale FST for [info]iluxia to bribe her into writing fics and I'm so ABUSING my Suikoden database lol

Oh, and once you download it, I'm sure you'll laugh at Gokudera's song XDDD

OH DEAR GOD I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE.

Vertical Infinity is perfect for prologue. It sets the mood without being overbearing. And then Maybe I'm A Lion, which is an awesome piece but still rather slow in tempo. Reborn's song is the first that seizes you by the neck, and then it's mellowed dramatically by Tchaikovsky's Sugar Plum Fairy love that choice btw XD

Bond's Duel is perfect for Yamamoto because he is a little intimidated by Hibari but isn't afraid of him. I think I also can understand why you picked Up and Down for Ryouhei. He's sunny and all vivacious energy, he doesn't have time for fear, even of Hibari. And darling, Gothic Neclord is a PERFECT choice for Mukuro. As for Chrome's choice, I'm guessing you chose that because she's still Mukuro's shadow?

Hibird's song is an AWESOME choice. And your commentary too XD Dino's, well, I won't comment on this one, it will be much too biased because I've been listening to this song every time I read a particular fic. As for Kusakabe's, GENJI OH MY GOD GENJI. The perfect prince in the legend. I see what you're doing there, dear, yes I do XD

I also like this is getting redundant, but yes, I LOVE that you chose the piano version of JENOVA for TYL!Hibari. It has that more refined feel, which contrasts him to his younger self. And finally, Mezame is perfect, PERFECT for an epilogue. It leaves you with that slightly harrowing feel that usually comes with an ending.

Overall, I love these songs so much.

And I will stop typing now before this gets even longer. Time to listen to them from the beginning once more. MUCH LOVE.
